HERE’s something that you can do at every possible opportunity:
A REQUEST THAT WEB FORMS BE UPDATED TO INCLUDE “MR. & MR.,” etc.
Whenever I come across a web form that offers multiple salutation options that include “Mr. & Mrs.” but no other 2-person combos, I send them an email similar to the following. I hope you’ll do the same: Hey folks,
I’m glad you’re out there as a resource. I’m writing to ask that you update your forms. You offer the options of “Ms.,” “Mr.,” “Mrs.,” “Mr. & Mrs.,” etc.
… but no “Mr. & Mr.” and no “Mrs. & Mrs.” or “Ms. & Ms.”
My strong suggestion: either remove “Mr.& Mrs.,” or add the other options as well.
