Hillary Clinton vows to end mass incarceration in the wake of Baltimore protests
In a spirited speech at Columbia University on Wednesday, Hillary Clinton expressed sympathy for the death of Freddie Gray at the hands of the Baltimore police and called for sweeping criminal justice reform that would “end the era of mass incarceration” — and surprisingly offered details how to fix it.

Our current system of mass incarceration destroys lives and families and wastes an obscene amount of money that could better be spent BUILDING lives and communities. I’m glad to see a presidential candidate discussing this.
